Service Technician
Cope Salt is looking for a new team member who can service, repair and install the AUTOBrine® System, automatic brine maker. We will train you on all aspects of our patented system which include basic plumbing and electrical. All work is performed in commercial operations, no residential projects. Lots of work variety. The qualified applicant typically works independently, relying heavily on the prior professional experience of local and state regulations. The required skillset is similar to that of a Mechanical Contractor or an HVAC Technician. The typical commitment is M-F 7-4 schedule with the occasional weekend/evening service work. Overnight travel is required for installations greater than a 2-hour drive from Lancaster, PA.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
Position Responsibility
Identify opportunities, position, and sell to new customers in need of company’s product and services. Develop and strengthen relationships at existing customer accounts and with referral network.
Essential Job Functions
- Water pipe (PVC) installation; fitting, joining, and cutting PVC pipe.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Basic understanding of light electrical wiring.
- Work includes inside and outside work on customers’ property.
- Keep service vehicles stocked, organized, clean, and fueled.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial plumbing and electrical helpful.
- Good listening skills, following instructions, and safety protocols.
- Willing to learn systems and methods, personal initiative.
- Problem solver, self-sufficient.
- Person will be required to work at heights on ladders and lifts, kneel, stoop, crawl, or squat, and lift 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a confined space. All gear and certifications are provided by the company.
Requirements:
- Must have a clean driving record, CDL license is preferable but not required.
- Primary equipment & tools are provided, and personal hand tools are furnished by each employee.
- Must be able to be certified to work on school/government projects according to Act 34, 151 & FBI Fingerprints.
- Drug-Free work environment.
- No smoking, vaping, or tobacco products used on customer property, company property, or in vehicles.

Job Description
- Deliver pallets of salt and liquid brine within a 100 mile radius of Lancaster, PA
- Normal hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; Monday – Friday
- No weekends
