Salt Delivery
At The Cope Company Salt, we understand that our customers want flexibility when it comes to their salt supply and salt delivery. While one customer may prefer to have salt delivery directly to their facility, another may want the convenience, savings, and shorter wait time associated with picking up products at our plant.
Our delivery area is approximately a 100-mile radius around our Lancaster, PA location. Bagged rock salt is available for delivery by the pallet. Each pallet has 49 50-pound bags. We deliver bulk loose solar salt in full truckload quantities, which is approximately 22-24 tons.

Solar Salt Delivery
Solar salt delivery is offered on numerous products. Cope Salt carries bagged products in a variety of sizes and brands as well as bulk loose solar salt. We keep a steady year-round inventory of packaged and loose salt, ensuring our customers always have access to what they need. We have our own fleet of vehicles including dump trucks and tractor-trailers with lift gates. Our friendly and professional staff pride themselves on superior service and timely deliveries.

Our premium Cope brand solar salt is available in 40-pound and 50-pound bags. This bestselling product contains no additives and is all-natural. In addition, we carry Sun Gems and several products from Morton. These products are available for delivery and pick-up.
Bulk Loose Salt (Solar Salt)
Bulk solar salt is always on hand at our Lancaster, PA facility. The Cope Company Salt has three large pits that are filled with bulk solar year-round.
- Delivered in full truckload amounts.
- Used for commercial and industrial water conditioning or ice melt purposes.
- Industries served: pharmaceutical, food processing, manufacturing, hospitality, municipal, educational, laundromats, car washes, healthcare, and retirement communities.
- We deliver in tri-axle dump trucks in full truckload quantities which is approximately 22 tons.
If you want smaller quantities, customers are welcome to pick up amounts as an approximate half-ton. Our friendly staff can load your product into something as small as a spreader attached to a pickup truck or a dump trailer or something as large as a tri-axle dump truck.

Bulk Deicer
Bulk deicer is always in plentiful supply at The Cope Company Salt. We secure our inventory long before winter hits. On-site we have three incredibly large piles of halite, commonly known as rock salt or solar salt, which is the most economical and popular bulk ice melt product. It is available for pick up or delivery.
- Bulk deicer can be picked up in quantities as small as an approximate half-ton.
- Popular option for snow and ice management professionals who don’t have a large area to clear.
- We can load customers who are picking up with truck-mounted spreaders all the way up to tri-axle dump trucks.
If you prefer delivery of your ice melt, just let us know. We deliver in full truckload quantities which is approximately 22-24 tons.
Green Treated Rock Salt
As a special-order bulk deicer, we also offer Green Treated Rock Salt. It is treated with magnesium chloride to speed the melting process. The green color also helps with visibility. We can deliver it to you only in full truckload quantities.

Cope Salt is your best choice for rock salt nearby. Rock salt is the economical choice for melting snow and ice on roads, walkways, and driveways. Cope Salt offers rock salt (also known as halite or sodium chloride) in 50-pound bags. If you are looking for bulk loose rock salt, we provide a better alternative. Our bulk loose sodium chloride is solar salt which is chemically the same product as rock salt but cleaner.
We are conveniently located near Route 30 and Route 283 in Lancaster, PA. We always have rock salt in inventory. Bulk loose salt is available for pickup in quantities as small as one ton. Bagged rock salt can be bought by the bag or by the pallet. Some of our customers are homeowners who just need a bag or two as well as facilities who order by the full truckload. That’s 18 pallets or 882 50-pound bags!

Deliveries in Maryland can be made to Annapolis, Baltimore, Bowie, Frederick, Gaithersburg, Hagerstown, Rockville, and Towson as well as other locations.
